designing websites since computers were beige.
Built my first site in 1998.
Opened my own web shop in 2005.
Yeah, so I’m probably what you’d call a “seasoned” professional, but my work keeps me young at heart. And my experiences have made me pretty good at my job, too.
You could say I have a plethora of experience.
My career experience of both advertising and graphic design has made it possible for me to have dipped my toes into a variety of project pools. I’ve worked on advertising campaigns, corporate identity programs, annual reports, book designs, touchscreen installations, and of course my bread and butter: website design and development.
Looking back, I now see how all of these experiences give me a few more “level-ups” in the quests I accept on a daily basis: planning, designing, building, and maintaining websites for my clients.
Addison Hall Design: mostly single player.
That’s right: I—Addison Hall—am the only web jockey running this race. I answer the emails, I write the proposals, I make the coffee, and I am the lone nerd who designs and builds all of the websites.
This may limit the number of projects I can take on, but it allows me the privilege to personally oversee each website from planning to launch. More importantly, it means I can switch to multiplayer and be directly involved with my clients. This leads to the bonus level relationships that continue well after we’ve completed the first website.
